been playing middle of the road soft rock covers bit of ballroom waltzes etc. along with my partner Ray since 1979, moved to Devon in SW of UK in 1991, and fell into entertaining the holiday makers in the hotels of Torbay, I played bass guitar first then progressed to the keyboards, I bought my first banjo when i was in my early 20s but never really mastered it and regrettably sold it a few years ago.( a Leo Fender 5 string) then quite by accident we turned up at a bluegrass evening on the river Dart at Tuckenhay and that's it, I'm hooked this is what I want to play, very grateful to all the people who put tabs lessons etc. on line it is helping so much, I have learnt quite a few but so much more to learn can't wait,
