I've been doin the online listening thing for a while. I like to listen to pandora stations and sugar in the gourd is a fantastic site too! So i decided I would actually start a collection of my own and show some support to the artists that are really creating an influence on me. Instead of going crazy on my extensive list of chicken scratched names I figured I'd go for a couple that I've been dying for more of. So what I ended up getting was Adam Hurt-Earth Tones, being in a slow process of trying to build my own gourd banjo this album has a special place for me. Mary Z. Cox-Girl With The Banjo Tattoo, when i first started playing, having NO-ONE around me with any banjo influence or interest, I would do the youtube thing, and Mary was one of my first subsciptions and comeback channels. Walt Koken-Banjonique, the fist time i heard this i gazed with my jaw open, not knowing anything about roundpeak style or whatever style you want to call it. thinking how is he getting those extra notes in there so fast and rythmically??! So there they are I was just so syched about them I figured I'd put a post of it haha!

I loves me some clawhammer. All kinds, melodic, progressive, round peak, whatever it may be I love it. In all honesty I love playing anything with strings though, but I'm here for the banjee
