i started playing music in 1973. first the guitar then the banjo. i have played in a number of bands including [ the brush creek grass ] [ the cumberland gap connection ] [ the charlie bays unit ]. i have recorded several albums. i live with my wife in barbourville, ky. where i also teach banjo and guitar. i love bluegrass music more than anything. there are not enough hours in a day for me to play as much as i like to!!
