Started playing banjo on a $15.00 Epiphone at 15...quit...started back at 25 on a rebuilt Vega Tubaphone....quit....started back in late 40's at the urging of my friend and fellow 5-stringer, Flattop (checkout his site), and have been struggling ever since, but continue. Now playing a Deering Hartford I bought on Ebay because I had to have a banjo with that name on it, and love it. Also have had 3 Hubers, a rebuilt RB-250, a Granda copy, a Ronnie Bales curly maple model, and others, some of which I still have...always looking for something different....you know, the perfect banjo! Pick it solid!
