My new, first banjo arrives today.  I bought a Deering Goodtime open back along with some fingerpicks and a couple learnin' books.  I'm very excited.  My friends and family are bewildered by my new interest in learning to play, but I don't care what they think.  My wife finds it curious, but supports me all the way.  Wish me luck!
