Osborne Chief

Wednesday, July 9, 2008

Just wanted to say that I received my Osborne Chief a couple of months ago (actually six months ago to be specific), and I'm very satisfied with it. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to the thin neck and small string spacing, but I quickly found it more comfortable than the wide neck and spacing of my old Epiphone. And by the way, the Price case that came with the Chief is the best instrument case I've ever had. Add Comment

I've been playing four stringed banjo (dixieland style) since '96, but in March 2004 I decided to learn how to play real bluegrass banjo (Scruggs style).

I'm the banjoist in a couple of Norwegian bands:
* Olav Larsen & the Alabama Rodeo Stars (americana/country)
* Stambordet (norwegian folk/roots mixed with bluegrass)
* Blue Bell (trad. bluegrass)
