I'm an Old Hippy. As Bill Sullivan said to me ( HEDRICK your the Jesse James of the Banjo World You can mess up anything) IE Monster Garage. I didn't think Bill knew who that was!. I can live with thatTitle,That was after Eric & I finished the RED BANJO. An Old Man out in Calif taught me how to work on Banjos 40 plus years ago. I laugh when I think back about all the banjos he did, the 5 string was, as he put it, the red headed step-child to him! For me it was love at first site!!!! My first Bluegrass Experience was Jerry Garca ,David The Dog, Old & in the Way. Who the hell was Bill Monroe? Alas, I was Born into the Bluegrass World & have been a faithful follower ever since. All My Heroes are leaving this Earth. There is one Hell of a Bluegrass Band somewhere.Now they have a GREAT Banjo Builder TOO!
