Too bad that is says been playing since instead of how many years played. Yes I started playing guitar in 1975 and a little banjo a couple of years later then went to college, got married and started a family so work was more important. I started paying again some about 15 years ago when my daughter became interested in the guitar and a about 10 years ago she became interested in the banjo so I bought a cheap starter for her. She soon went back to the guitar and so the last 10 years I was off and on with the banjo. Now that my kids are grown and out of college I find myself into the jo pretty hard and yes I have gotten rid of that cheap starter banjo.
