although i like the in your face boisterous nature of three finger pickin on a resonator, i found myself more comfortable (and quiet) with the mellow flexibility of a fretless, gut string contraption. next, i want to acquire a minstrel banjo with a large pot (at least 13 inches in diameter). i just imagine that'd sound cool. not to mention less frustrating in humid weather.
