Just saw both the Boxcars and J.D. Crowe and the New South last night at the M.A.C. Center in Prestonsburg, KY. After wanting to initially throw my 5 string over the hill I decided go get more serious about it. What a phenomenal performance by all! Also met a gentleman Named Holt from the upper North Carolina who played around Stewart, Va. Are ya out there sir? If so holler at me whenever I'd love to get together and pick. Are there any pickers in the Wise, Va. or Southwest Va. region who would want to get up and pick either old time or bluegrass? Give me a holler!
