Galloped racehorses and broke yearlings... Road and competed show horses including grand prix jumpers for 40 years...went to georgetown univ....english major....did 3 1/2 years then took a leave of absence...never went back...took up clawhammer banjo in freshman year of college after falling in love with the greatest singer and player of OLD mountain songs I'd ever heard , Frank Proffitt...
