Taesoo Seok |
Taesoo Seok lives with his wife, Kyung-hye Kim in Yongin city, South Korea. He plays the guitar and banjo, and his wife Kyung-hye plays the mandolin. One of their favorite spare time activities is to play duets.
Taesoo took interests in a wide range of music by taking private lessons from Brad Davis (flatpick guitarist, Grammy Award Winner), Lisa McCormick(singer/songwriter/guitarist, Overall Grand Prize Winner in the USA Songwriting Contest), and Bruce Stockwell (Merlefest Banjo Contest Winner) while he was staying in the US in 1998-2000 and 2007.
Taesoo is now giving junior and young adult students acoustic guitar lessons at home and hoping to start an institution in a few years, where he would teach not only the students but also guitar teacher prospects.
