Started playing in college in ?, built my own banjo in ?, played bluegrass for about 8 years, switched to clawhammer for about 6 years, dabbled in Irish and French folk for about 8 years, barbershop a cappella for about 10 years, banjo was stolen around 2001 and I haven't played in about 9 years. Starting again pretty much as a beginner, but doing it just because I love the music and know I will never hope to be a star.
