I started playing while in the Air Force in 1978 and got pretty good. I was in a bluegrass band while in veterinary school. After getting married and three children later, I stopped playing for 20 years. Now, our youngest is 19 and I have more time to play, I am looking to really get back those skills I once had and really improve. I am branching out from bluegrass and working on my clawhammer. Clawhammer is very expressive.
