Although inspired by the All Time Greats such as Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs and The Stanley Brothers
I developed my own style of banjo-playing , using very simple techniques.
I started playing around 1980 and took some lessons ,but due to lack of time I could not practice often enough in the beginning.
Later on I had more opportunity to do so and gradually I made some progress.
It still remains fairly amateuristic what I do , but if you don't expect too much , you will perhaps appreciate
the way in which I play a number of traditionals on my IIda five string banjo.
