mandolin 2% i bought it on impulse, i should realy learn to play it sometime

Supprisingly my music taste is in no way linked to folk or banjo music... i'm into grimey drum and bass, Dubstep and electronic music, but this isn't the place for that :)

January 1st 2007: new years resolution was to learn to play an instrument.... first thing comes to mind Guitar, "mmmmmm nah everyone plays guitar" second idea Drums, "too noisy and too consuming" Bass? "doesnt realy do anything for me" what then?... 6 days later i walked past a music shop in bolton and i saw a banjo in the window with a heavenly beam of bright light harrowing own on it like some kind of old time musical mystique. i knew at that point this is what i wanted to play. i've never looked back
