What do I do?

Monday, March 22, 2010

I am retired U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service employee.  I live in southern Illinois.  I still have a woodwork shop, I make molding, cabinets and furniture.  I also have a hobby of building and working on insturments.  I have  played music off and on since I was 5.  I have built insturments since I was 16.  Since I retired I have the tools and the materials to build anything I want.  I thought when I retired I would have lots of time.  I still am pretty busy.  Seems like there is never enough time.

I work on our old house and work in the shop, plus I have a job van to go out and remodel houses.

I go to church and play music the mandolin and fiddle there.

I don't know how I will do with this blog and really don't know much about it.  I like making friends and haveing conversations.  I will use the forum.  I am on several forums.

I am now retired, but I still work all the time. I have a large shop, lots of tools and lots of wood. I build and repair stringed instruments. I make cabinets, moldings and furniture in my shop. I am 57 years old and still learning. I ain't afraid to ask questions. I am a real live Wood-a-holic. I love wood and working with wood.
