A friend of mine came to me with a banjo his neighbor was carrying out to the garbage. He asked if he could have it and he brought it to me.
By the serial number it is a 1923 Vega Tu ba Phone 6 string with resonator. I have not seen one of these on the internet. Its has the original case and it looks like the original set of strings still in the wax paper. does anyone know what it might be worth? Thank you

I started off with a Johnson banjo package and learned the Janet Davis/Mel Bay beginners banjo. I am still sort of playing around with that, but have enough skill to play 10 or 12 songs. I am currently learning Flint Hill Special but having problems with speed.
