I was born in Iowa, traveled a bit, will die in Iowa if I'd have my choice about it. My Grandparents lived in Louisiana, so I have a bit of southern style to me. I am happily married. I have two children who have moved out already, and a thirteen year old son at home. Two years ago, I quit smoking and picked up the guitar. I have taken lessons on and off since then. A few weeks ago, I found a used banjo in the guitar shop that called to me,, so I bought it and I am going to learn how to play it.. Our local banjo player (who works at hte guitar shop),(John), is not giving lessons,, so I am winging it..and I would say I'm not doing so bad,,, we will see what happens.
