I appreciate all the support I have received from John's friends. I know this site was a huge part of his life and what made him happy. I hope you had great holidays.
I accidently deleted the moderator's email address who contacted me. If she could resend an email to me at tujague@mail.com I would appreciate it. bev

Played guitar for many years (in a small country/western band as well as for personal enjoyment). Always wanted to play the banjo and then found a tenor (in fairly good shape) for $25. Started playing it but tuned it like the first 4 strings of the 5 string banjo and played it more like a 5 string. Had so much fun with it sold my guitar and bought a good 5 string and enjoy the heck out of it. Play with a bluegrass band called the Virginia Gentlemen Plus Right now we play primarily for senior citizen centers, retiirement communities, assisted living centers and an occasional coffee house. We play mostly bluegrass, gospel, folk and some old time country.
