Mark is a member of both Nemeth Art Center and Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council. He has been involved in historical re-enacting and music for years and owns a retail business dealing in historical music, books, and antiques. Mark has performed with the Circle B Cowboys, Bluebell Lodge Wranglers, Smoky Hills Wranglers and has been a featured performer at the National Festival of the West, Disney World, Medora Cowboy Poetry Gathering, the Journey Museum and other locations throughout the West. Mark's website, lonehand.com, contains the Chuck Wagon Registry, the largest archive of working chuck wagons in existence. The website also hosts a huge archive of cowboy, Civil War, and Victorian songs and recipes as well as presenting a broad range of old west history. Mark is an antique dealer specializing in culinary antiques from the 1800's with emphasis on chuck wagon antiques, he has obtained his diploma in antiques, collectibles and appraising from the Asheford Institute of Antiques. He currently performs the solo act "Historical Notes - The Songs of America's Heritage" and runs Woods Sounds recording studio.
