I responded to the ad by Dave Cunningham a few days ago for zebra wood bridges he makes. I already have a few custom bridges for my Stelling, a couple of which I love, so I wasn't expecting anything special from Dave's bridges but I was curious about the zebra wood, which Dave tells me is a bit harder than some maples. To my surprise his bridge out performed my other two favorite bridges in every catagory---it is louder, fuller with noticably more ring. I sure recommend them to anyone wanting to experiment with non-traditional bridge woods.
