I love too many to mention but love going to Greyfox Bluegrass Festival and Rhythm and Roots. I do love Mountain Heart and Hot Tuna. I love music ranging from bluegrass to blues to rock to folk to metal...I grew up with Hendrix and Led Zeppelin etc.

I've worn many hats in my life from hairdresser to secretary to photographer to singer songwriter. These days I have been playing music in the subway for a living which is fun but pretty rough to survive on it. I used to work as a secretary and do photography on the weekends and I traveled to Latin America around 11 times and to Western Samoa for a month in 2003. I played guitar years ago for awhile then quit and took it up again in 2006. I picked up the mandolin in 2008. Someone heard me sing at a party and that was how I started singing. I've produced two homemade CDs which I sell in the subway. I play mostly rhythm on my instruments and sing although I am working on fiddle tunes on the mandolin. I wish I had been playing all along but it didn't happen that way. I have also played a tiny bit of keyboards, some drum brushes on a cardboard box and other percussion, and I have laid down some bass lines on songs I recorded at home on my computer. I have tried bowing a fiddle and realize that is a tough instrument. I have not tried the banjo yet but love the sound. I hope you banjo folks don't mind my joining!
