Hello there people What ride it has been.. I have been in love with the banjo since 1972. I was born in Brooklyn NYC then moved to the suburbs of Long Island at an early age. The Bluegrass capital of the world.......NOT! Don't know exactly what happened, but in my junior year of high school I went off the deep end and fell in love with the banjo. My girlfriend got me my first banjo for my birthday (Harmony resin pot). By next year that time I was playing Foggy Mt Breakdown in the Senior lounge! Other than a handful of friend with similar interest. There was no one around to play with. but that did not stop me from pursuing my fondness for the banjo and all related music. Then a funny thing happened. There was more interest and a movement towards Country , Folk rock, old timey and Bluegrass music in the NYC area. By the late eighties we had a Long Bluegrass club and then I was not alone! I have been playing semi professional since 1989. in 2003 I left Long Island and move to the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina ,Franklin,Macon County. I have alway had an interest in repairing and building stringed instruments through the years and finely got my act together and started building banjos and doing repairs. I am in the process of building resonator guitars as well (my Second Love). I don't plan on getting rich from this venture but certainly for filled I will show some of my instruments as they are finished. My first Customer is my brother a Gibson inspired RB 3 with a Granada Flying Eagle inlay pattern, Big ten Tone ring and Cox wood pot it sounds wicked!
