PAUL T MCFARLANE |
It's 1:20 AM here on Second Mountain, and I am playing softly to help me relax from a very long. day. At this Db level, the open chords and single notes seem to hang in the night air longer than in the daytime. Is this a sleep deprived audio hallucination, or is it really true: do very soft notes at night sustain longer than really loud notes during the day?

Retired college professor (Mathematical Sociology, Statistics) Happily married to my wife Susan whom I met as a student in 1970 and married in 2000. Together with our German Shepard, Jetzie, we live a life of moderation on Second Mountain outside of Harrisburg, PA., enjoying life more than in the past when the music was drowned out by the static of modern life in the US today.
