Hi Everyone,
This site is very well done, and has been invaluable to me.
My name is Steve, and from Australia.
Have always been in love with the sound of the Banjo, crisp and unique.
I have just brought a cheap learner Banjo, and spent a bit of time getting it to sound right, a lot of the setup came from reading Banjo mails and tips.
I do not think I will tire of it, I seem to spend a fair bit of time plunkin away.
One of the things I have had to do is spread the strings a bit as I have fat fingers and chords are a pain as a learner - keep deadening the strings around.
Is there a set measurement for the space between the strings ??? I seem to be stuck getting the chords right at present,
