Guitar player since 1964, Bass since 1965, keyboards since 1985, upright bass since 2006, Banjo (on rare occasions) since 1968. Built my first guitar (electric) in 1965, very primitive but playable. Started building seriously in 2002 - first electric guitars and basses, then added acoustic guitars and acoustic bass guitars in 2005, and electric uprights in late 2007. I play guitar and bass in a church praise band. I've built three banjos - two plectrums & one open-back 5-string, altho I'd have to say that last one isn't quite finished.
