I live in the wild's of North Wales, in a tiny hamlet called Pandy, I am a retired Electronic Engineer, who is in to Banjo playing, I am also a member of a Band, in which I play the Guitar, there are 5 of us in all and we are called "The Soggy Bottom Boys UK", we are all over 65, and play in Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, and Clubs, and anywhere else that we are asked to play, we do not charge, but ask for a donation to a charity that we support, which is called "Ty Gobiath", it is a hospice for children, and we have raised about £3000 in the last two years. I have been playing Guitar for about thirty years, and about a year ago I started to learn the Banjo, and find that I cannot put it down, I love learning and playing, I have just asked Wayne G, for a copy of "Country Roads" tab which he has kindly sent,and which I will try to learn, I like playing Bluegrass, and have started to hear the Banjo in a few John Denver songs, which I would like to copy.
