Been playing music since I was 15. Guitar is my first instrument followed by electric bass, mandolin, and banjo in that order. I'm learning that the kind of music I'm naturally good at is most types of folk music. My wife and both play and sing in harmony with each other on all types of music. I'm mostly interested in claw hammer and other old-time banjo styles. I love bluegrass too, but I aint really interested in learning that style.I was on here a couple of years ago when I had my first Goodtime Banjo, but in a fit of temporary insanity, I sold it to get a new guitar. Big mistake. I've been wanting one again ever since. My lovely wife blessed me with a new Goodtime banjo this week!
