I was inspired by an Earl Scruggs Review concert in 1973. I was 21 years old with no musical experience but I borrowed a banjo and started playing the next day....been at it ever since. I am self taught, generally thru tablature. Most of my playing has been with family and local bands. My wife of 36 years, sally, plays a great rhythm guitar We enjoy traditional music together....makes for a fun marriage. We both currently play in the High Point Bluegrass band.
