I am a fiddle player with US and Canadian dual citizenship. I originally specialized in Irish and Canadian styles but now have integrated old time fiddle into my repertoire (I have never been to Clifftop). I was the fiddler with Rhythm In Shoes (Dayton, OH) from '95-'00. Since living in Bloomington, Indiana, an old time music haven, I have learned to play clawhammer style banjo. My wife who is a clogger lured me to move here some years back from Minnesota and prefers to dance to clawhammer banjo above the fiddle. Go figure! She owns a Chuck Lee too. PHOTO: my Chuck Lee leaning against the headtone of my great-great grandfather, John Henry Gould, who was an abolitionist in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. I think he preferred the pump organ to the banjo but you never know.
