My Instruments:
gibson frankentone with prewar tone ring and parts from 50s-70s(this is my dad's that i use occasionally)
i finally got a banjo of my own! its a will williams grangeville, the same kind kenny ingram plays! its got a vintage huber tonering, custom neck- thin and wide, hearts and flowers inlays, tensionator tailpiece, and of course, cheat-a-keys! this thing plays great and is EXTREMELY loud, especially up the neck, and can out perform almost all of the newer (and older) gibsons.
i use GHS Sonny Osbourne signature string sets.

I am 17 yrs old and have been playing scruggs, sonny osborne, and crowe style 5-string banjo for 5 years now. My father, Allen Eisenman, teaches me. He has played along side many famous individuals such as jimmy martin, vassar clements, sonny osborne, benny martin and many more and has played the opry numerous times. He is quite the virtuoso on fiddle, banjo, and mandolin, and teaches from our home and over webcam. If you are interested in lessons, check out his site at www.fiddlin-al.com. It's pretty interesting having your teacher live with you, forcing you to practice, making you fix every mistake until you're perfect. I don't really know exactly how to say how good I am, but i play with my dad on occasional gigs and get paid, but I still have a loooong road ahead of me. I'd love to get to know some of the banjo community, so if you'd like, send me a message or an e-mail. keep pickin' :) BanjoNeil Eisenman ( )====='===::
