I have played tenor banjo, five string banjo, guitar and mandolin for many years in various string bands in New York and New Jersey. I worked with fiddlers Marty Laster and Lew Gelfond performing concerts, school shows and bluegrass gigs. I currently perform with guitarist Paul Byrne. I have performed on Broadway as an actor, musician and song and dance man. My band opened for Kermit the Frog and Jim Henson in Central Park. I have performed at the New Jersey Folk festival, and at many music and storytelling festivals in the New York metro area. In addition to teaching banjo, I am very good at helping musicians put their whole act together as I have made my living at it for 30 years.
