Grew up on a small farm here in SW PA. 150 acres,40 beef,60 hogs, couple doz. chickens and 5 brothers and sisters. Been a union Ironworker for 40 yrs. Married for 37 yrs., one son 36, 3 grandchildren, 16,14,12. Picked up my first banjo about 4 yrs. ago, a Johnson jb100. Took some lessons,then got throwed from my horse,tore up a rotator cuff. rehabed from that, year ago had the other shoulder repaired. So my playing time hasn't been what I would have liked , but I'm getting there.
