Hi all,
I'm starting this blog as somewhere to record my progress on the banjo.
A few years ago, I found myself taking up the banjo seat in my band, as the original member had other commitments. I had a little bit of experience on the instrument, and had written all the parts with banjo in hand, so I figured I might as well give it a shot. I've kept it up, and fallen in love with the instrument - it's time to graduate from "composer's banjo" to a real-deal picking.
That said, I'm quite keen on focusing on my own music, and the non-traditional banjo moves within - I just want to gain some fluidity and make those moves a little more interesting!
