Well, let's see, I was born in West Liberty, Kentucky. I was the fourth child of Santford Kelly and Daisy Proffit Kelly. I have two brothers, Ralph and Wayne Kelly and one sister Tressie. I lost my mother when I was three years old, so I was raised by my father with a lot of help from my sisterTressie. My father, Santford Kelly was a well known old time fiddle player in the area.
