Grew up in Rochester Hills, MI. Never had a lot of money growing up, despite the city's stature for being an epicenter of wealth. My dad was a musician, but has worked on the line at General Motors for over 30 years. Music was always a passion growing up, but I never really put an effort into getting into bands. My greatest interest lies in instrument building and repair, but playing is something I've always invested a great deal of time in.
