Born and raised in Florence SC. I love the Smoky Mountains where I fell in love with the banjo back in 1983. Bought me a cheap model just to be sure I was gonna stick to it and a year later went to Sevierville TN and bought me a brand new Deering Deluxe. I love tinkering with it, experimenting with different bridges and strings. Just put a new head on it and a Kershner tailpiece.
