I played since the ?s and just used the banjo to accompany the singing. Then I went on a 10 year hiatus and came back to it in the ?s.

I'm a clawhammer picker and I like the old stuff... like from the 19th century and a few new ones. I mainly play a Wildwood but I also play a fretless banjo I build from a Bob Flesher kit. Nice old timey sound! I now have finished a Boucher Banjo Kit from Bell Banjos. Really nice kit and a great minstrel banjo!

I like taking my classic chevy to car shows and sittin' behind her and picking the afternoon away.
