Grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL, and graduated U of A (Roll Tide) 1973. I developed a keen affection for bluegrass music as a teenager watching the weekly Flatt and Scruggs show in the early 60s. As a mental health counselor, having a constructive outlet helps me maintain my own sanity and there's nothing like pickin to keep one grounded.
