I was born in Minnesota in 1930, and I've lived in Indianapolis for the last 48 years. I've been singing folksongs and similar since 1950 or so with guitar, and with banjo since 1999. I'm a clawhammerer, for singing accompaniment, and not really too interested in straight instrumentalism, although I do a little here and there. I'm a solo singing act, essentially.
