My musical experience is broad. I have 2 college degrees in music. I was a French horn player in the 70's, playing orchestra, opera, etc. I played electric bass in rock bands through the 60's and 70's. I am a former high school band director. I have played banjo for many years, first playing Bluegrass in the MS, AL, LA area. I now play mostly clawhammer. I currently teach at Penn State and I live in Bellefonte, PA.
