A horrible thing happened to my Gibson RB 250 today.
The banjo was parked safely in a stand when I went to pick it up I noticed the neck was broken just South of the nut. It seems the peghead is hanging on by just the veneer.
A little background on this. Way back in 1984 the banjo fell off a stand and the neck broke in the same place. It was professionally repaired and all has been well since.
Anyone have any advice or suggestions. I posted some photos also.
