Rich Schroeder is offering lessons at Musictexasstyle.com. Rich was at the forefront of modernbluegrass during the 70,s. His band toured the Midwest and East for seven years. The Monroe Doctrine Band served as a springboard for others to play with Hot rise and Hank Williams Jr. The first lessons are beginning lessons. Next to come will be some of the tunes he played on stage for almost a decade. Rich currently lives in New Mexico and Mexico. 3 comments

Played for the Country Blueboys from 1966-1971 in Wisconsin and Colorado. Played with Jim and Johnny and the Virginia boys after that. Started the Monroe Doctrine later with Hot Rize's Charles Sawtelle. Played on the road for eight years with this band. Played Bean Blossom twice and made a best selling record alblum for Falls River Records. Recently, completed successful winter tour in Mexico with the Country Costa Mayans. Formerly played with the Carharts in Taos, New Mexico. Now teaches in Albuquerque and on-line at: Music Texas Style.
