I grew up hearing my uncles playing bluegrass gospel music. This music was played weeekly and they played Gospel music on Sunday mornings at church. I was not a fan of the music as I grew up but developed as I got older. Now that my DAd and most of his family have passed on I have only two uncles left that are still active. I wanted to learn the banjo and carry on the tradition of music in our family. I hope I have passed on some of the enthusiam I developed to my son. It looks like he has taken an interest. At least he startd playing guitar recently when I started helping him with some basic guitar. I have been progressing very well in the past couple of weeks, and am excited about what I have learned so far.
