i found at one of our outings we had trouble with our sound, it was a stage gig and none of the instruments had pick ups so everything was miked up,on the night we had two fiddles a banjo a mandolin and guitar, the sound was to say the least very bad there was no time for a proper sound check, what i was wondering was is there a pick up thats ideal for these instruments.sometime later i rembered a gig i attended where the band had one microphone their sound was excellent.if any body has any hints or tips i would welcome their views.
