I want to hang the ole' banjo on a solid wood door in my rv. I would use a good instrument hanger as well as mount the hanger devise with 2 'all-the-way-through the door' nuts and bolts. The door is a hard wood and approximatley 1.2" thick. I would put the mount on the 'cross bracing of the upper part of the door. Of course when the rv was in motion I would take the banjo off the hanger and lay it on the bed. Thank you for any input/advice you may have for me.
