I live in the SF Bay Area (Walnut Creek), and since the year 2000 have recorded various tunes with Eric Prust and his wife Donna in Washington state as "The Chairs". I decided to upload some old Chairs recordings that features Eric playing mostly banjo, fiddle and mandolin on. I've included more detailed information regarding the instrumentation on tracks I've uploaded to the BHO (and FHO). He is such a big part of "The Chairs" sound, but it wouldn't occur for Eric to upload tunes he plays fiddle and banjo on...and so...with his permission, I did it for him here. btw...some tunes posted here are only here because the audio wasn't considered good enough to post on other more "mainstream" music hosting sites. (We didn't save our mixes the first couple years, so they are what they are.)
