I have never done a "blog" before so I don't really know what to do. I'm in my early 60's, retired and just started playing banjo and taking lessons just over a year ago and I love it. I''m a slow lerner though and in a year I have just learned about a 1/2 dozen songs. I just "retired" the Miller my wife gave me for Christmas in 05 for a Morgan Monroe Matterhorn and what a difference both in looks and in sound. Not only that but weight too. I would like to find other banjo players living near me so we could get together and jam and learn.
