I started playing bluegrass banjo somewhere in 1988; for Dutch players, I took lessons from Harry van Lunenburg. I stopped playing in 1990. I came back in 1995 and took some lesson from Jerry Gout. But, a short but heavy illness (not violent) stopped me from playing. Now I'm back since last august 2006 and I really enjoy it!!! I met some other musicians and our first musical attempts can be found on Youtube (just fill in my name) In 2010 we started the band Eastbound Cityliners (www.eastboundcityliners.nl) and in may I joined the Big Americana Band.
